Participants will define what a CLABSI is, describe its role in patient morbidity and mortality, and determine which interventions can be used to decrease CLABSIs

Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSI) account for more than 82,000 infections, 28,000 attributable deaths, and billions of dollars in healthcare costs in the US annually. However, through strict adherence to protocols and rigorous patient care management, CLABIs can be preventable. During this webinar, participants will define what a CLABSI is, describe its role in patient morbidity and mortality, and determine which interventions can be used to decrease CLABSIs.
