Prostacyclins are often used to treat patients with advanced pulmonary arterial hypertension. In clinical trials, prostacyclins have shown survival benefit as well as improvement in quality of life. Administration of prostacyclins can be complex even for experienced PH experts. In this session, we will discuss the role of IV, SQ and inhaled prostacyclins, including important safety recommendations.
