This webinar on PH Care Center Accreditation provides an opportunity for the PH medical community to learn about specific accreditation criteria associated with Centers of Comprehensive Care (CCCs) and Regional Clinical Programs (RCPs). Different facets of our new initiative are explained and a Q&A session provides further clarification.


Featured Presenters:

Dr. Murali Chakinala is an Associate Professor in the Division of  Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Director of the PH Clinic at Washington University in Saint Louis. He serves as a member of the PHA Scientific Leadership Council and is Chair of the PH Care Centers Committee. 

Dr. Richard Channick is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard University and the Pulmonary Hypertension and Thromboendarterectomy Program Director at Massachusetts General Hospital. He serves as the Chair of the PHA Scientific Leadership Council.

Dr. Ronald Oudiz is a Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Center and is a Faculty Cardiologist at the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Southern California. He is a member of the PHA Scientific Leadership Council as well as the PH Care Centers Patient Registry Task Force.

Abby Poms is a Registered Respiratory Therapist, a Clinical Research Coordinator and the manager of the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Center at Duke University Medical Center. She serves as Co-Chair of the PH Care Centers Implementation Task Force.

Dr. Joel Wirth is the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Director and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is also a member of the PHA Scientific Leadership Council and is Co-Chair of the PH Care Centers Implementation Task Force.
