Cardiac Catheterization

Chronic thromboembolic disease can be challenging from both a diagnostic and therapeutic standpoint. This session will address when to operate and provide a nursing perspective on a patient diagnosed with chronic thromboembolic disease while being referred for thromboendarterectomy. Postoperative management of these patients will also be discussed.
