Educational Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Review the rationale for, types of, and potential concerns with, prostacyclin transitions in the pulmonary hypertension patient
  2. Through case-based presentation, evaluate the available evidence for transitioning between specific prostacyclin therapies
  3. Apply pharmacokinetic and patient-specific characteristics when developing a transition plan
  4. Discuss assessment of a transition plan incorporating available information and personal experience

This activity provides continuing education credit for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, social workers, and respiratory therapists, as well as a general participation certificate for other attendees.

  • Other Professionals: All other health care professionals completing this continuing education activity will be issued a Certificate of Participation indicating the number of hours of continuing education credit.
