Dr. Teuteberg is an assistant professor of medicine in the Section of Palliative Care and Medical Ethics, Division of General Internal Medicine, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is the medical director of the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute Palliative Care Outpatient Clinic and of the Palliative Care Service at Magee-Womens Hospital. Dr. Teuteberg has presented lectures and authored book chapters on the topic of palliative care and heart disease. She completed medical school at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston before joining the faculty at University of Pittsburgh in 2004.
