Developed by the PHA Scientific Leadership Council, this program will offer, at nationally recognized PAH centers, direct instruction on state-of-the-art PAH diagnosis and management for physicians and other health professionals who help care for patients with PAH.
These day-long highly interactive preceptorships will build links among community PAH specialists, non-specialists, and clinicians at established PAH centers, creating new avenues for communication and more comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnosis, initial treatment, and long-term management of patients with PAH.
The PHA Preceptorship Program is designed to improve competence, performance, and patient care practices by instructing front-line clinicians in the highest quality of care for patients with PAH. At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
This live activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Washington University School of Medicine, Continuing Medical Education and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
