This continuing education program will provide a review of intravenous prostacylin therapy, including patient selection, pharmacology, nursing considerations, and management of chronic prostacyclin infusions. Nurses providing care of patients in the inpatient or outpatient setting will be able to review or learn about the challenges and appropriateness of intravenous prostacylin therapy.

This course will discuss from a nursing perspective the basic principles of caring for patients with pulmonary hypertension.
